Most traditional businesses meet these criteria. Once confirmed, we move into plan structuring.
Before any decisions are made, you’ll meet with a Champ Plan agent to walk through how the plan works and review a customized savings overview for your company.
This overview illustrates:
• Estimated employer payroll tax savings
• Projected employee take-home pay impact
• A breakdown of how the plan is structured
This is an educational and planning step, not a final proposal. Exact numbers are finalized later using a full payroll census.
To prepare your overview, we typically need a recent payroll census or payroll register from a recent pay period.
Once you decide to move forward, the plan is set up using an IRS Section 125 compliant structure. Employee contributions are deducted pre-tax through payroll.
The Champ Plan is designed to complement your current benefits, not replace them. Your existing major medical plan stays in place. Your payroll team receives clear guidance to ensure a smooth and accurate integration.
Employees are introduced to the benefit with clear, simple communication explaining:
• How the plan works
• How it may affect their take-home pay
• How to access their healthcare benefits
To make participation easy and transparent:
• Employees who see an increase in take-home pay are typically enrolled automatically.
• Employees who would see a reduction in take-home pay can still choose to enroll if they want access to the benefits, but participation is optional for them.
Enrollment support is provided throughout this process to ensure employees understand their options and feel confident in their decision.
Once enrollment is complete, employees can begin using their benefits right away. They gain access to everyday healthcare services through an easy-to-use mobile platform.
