Next, you’ll meet with a Champ Plan advisor to review how the program would apply to your workforce.
During this step, you’ll receive an overview that illustrates:
• Estimated employer payroll tax savings
• Projected employee take-home pay impact
• A breakdown of how the plan is structured
This step is designed to provide clarity before moving forward. To prepare this overview, we typically review a recent payroll census or payroll register from a single pay period.
Once you decide to move forward, the plan is structured using an IRS Section 125 compliant framework.
Employee contributions are integrated into payroll as pre-tax deductions, and the implementation team works with your payroll provider to ensure the setup is completed correctly.
The Champ Plan works alongside your existing benefits. Your current major medical coverage remains unchanged.
Employees are introduced to the program through clear communication that explains:

To make participation simple:
Employees who see an increase in take-home pay are typically enrolled automatically.
Employees who would see a reduction in take-home pay may still choose to enroll if they want access to the healthcare benefits, but participation is optional.
